Several federal agencies regulate and enforce the current employment eligibility verification system. 

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency, which is charged with enforcing America’s immigration laws, is also responsible for enforcing employment eligibility verification across the nation.

The U.S Citizenship & Immigration Service administers the Basic Pilot program.
